What started out as a conversation during a spring walk two years ago, became a reality this Febuary. The three of us said to eachother we would love to do something like the Tri for cure. Then last year one of us was diagnosed with breast cancer, after all the treatments and recovery from chemo my friend has begun her come back. She asked me if I would enter the tri and Of course I would do anything for her. I was able to sign up dispite my sleepy eyes at 12:00 midnight. Not only am I doing this for my friend but I am also doing this because just recently my god mother was diagnosed with cancer and it came on very quickly it just goes to show that, cancer can strike any of us at any time. I just want to give back in some way. So, I will fight my way to the finish line in honor of my Aunt Casey and my good friend Sharon, I love you both. So join me in my crusade to fight cancer here in Maine.
