It is Tri season again...oh my, will I ever be ready? Hard to believe I actually did my very first Triathlon in 2006.....the year I turned 50 and reached the 5 year mark since completing my cancer treatment!!!! And, if the gods are with me, I will complete my 5th triathlon on Sunday, August 9th at the Tri for a CURE at SMCC in South Portland!!

I am slow and steady...but that works just fine for me! And for the second year I have THE best job of anyone at the Tri.....I start first and finish last! Just my speed! Someone has to do it, and I am honored to have this special job!! Got to keep everyone motivated along the course.....so, if you ever see the listing of times in the paper...now you know the rest of the story!!

Last year for the First Annual Tri for a CURE we had truly amazing day ...and raised over $250,000 for the Maine Cancer Foundation. This year the goal is even higher. So, my personal goal has to go up as well. With your help, I hope to raise over $5,000.00!!! I have not appealed for help for awhile, so I hope you will dig deep and consider a donation today!
